Reggie's had established their offline business boasting a regular stream and a small online database of loyal customers. However, Reggie's needed to address the ongoing need to convenience busy parents who did not have the time to go the stores themselves. In order to remain relevant it was imperative for Reggie's to bring their business online.

 

The Brief:

  • To create a Reggie's online store with comprehensive eCommerce capabilities
  • To marketing and grow Reggie's existing database of customers through eMail and online marketing
  • To provide online supply chain management and facilitate the deliveries of online orders nationwide for a set fee
  • To provide sales and services support for Reggie's customers

The Challenge:

In order to remain relevant it was imperative for Reggie's to bring their business online.

 

Tackling the Brief:

The Reggie's online store was developed with the clients projected outcome in mind. Reggie's products are the primary focus of the online store in terms of the layout giving potential customers a clear sense of their range and offerings. The design reflects Reggie's corporate identity and the navigation allows for easy usability. The online store was launched on the 24th of October 2008 and continues to be managed by Enginuity.

Marketing of the online store was carried out via eMail to a small database, which grew rapidly in the next two years. Promotions on the Reggie's homepage website banners and a monthly newsletter increased awareness and encouraged traffic to the website

Enginuity assisted Reggie's to target online offers to shoppers needs. Online marketing and eMail campaigns were created to move stock and encourage online business

Effective eCommerce solutions were provided to manage online stock, facilitate price changes and product information via a two-way information feed from the Reggie's head office main system to the online store.
