HP Shop started as an eCommerce platform in 2005. It was the result of a close relationship with HP, Digital Planet (Pty) Ltd and their strategic partners.  The aim was to allow HP employees and the employees of their strategic partner access to HP products at reduced rates online.

HP Shop was created as a website available to the general public, as well as with other closed platforms within it available to HP and their strategic partners.  In order to access these platforms, a partner key is required. This partner key gives the HP employees and the employees of their strategic partners’ access to their exclusive, branded platform and their special pricing.

Each individual platform has its own eMail entry box, which allows us to capture a database specific to each company/strategic partner.  This allows us to market specifically to selected partners.

We do not hold HP or any of their strategic partners responsible for orders, payments or delivery, as the website allows the employees to deal directly with us.  In the case of HP, the only additional involvement they have is the verification of HP employees, which is done by their HR department.  An automated report is sent to HR on a daily basis and once employees are approved by HP we begin processing the orders.

Once payment has been received, stock is either allocated or ordered from the distributors.  It is then delivered directly to the customer anywhere in South Africa.

HP Shop has provided HP with solutions to various promotions and allowed them to see a rapid return on investment from their campaigns as we can easily focus on a call to action and not just awareness.
We assist the HP brand with SEM marketing, affiliate marketing, online marketing, eMail marketing and database collection and management, as well as events and displays and all marketing material and equipment required for these.

HP Shop also runs the HP call centre to assist HP customers with orders, advice and after sales service.  We assist all after sales queries for orders placed directly with us, and for items not purchased directly through us, we still assist the customers by providing them with the correct contact for their query.
